Care Animal Hospital is proud to have an experienced and talented groomer, Jamie Gossett, available seven days a week to serve our clients. Jamie has been grooming all dog and cat breeds for over 25 years, and looks forward to lending her services to your pet’s care.

Jamie is happy to accommodate dogs and cats of every shape, size, and coat type. She takes care with every pet to make sure they feel comfortable and safe whether they are having a bath, a coat trim, or a nail trim. If necessary, we can also provide sedation for pets that might be anxious during their grooming appointment.

Before Your Pet’s Grooming Appointment
As a precaution, any pets that come to us for grooming (or boarding) must be examined by one of our veterinary assistants. This allows us to screen your pet for underlying health problems that one of our veterinarians may need to address.
The Benefits of Grooming and De-Shedding
Damaged or infected skin and a dirty, matted coat can lead to all kinds of health problems for pets. From painful irritation to parasites and skin disorders, your pet’s skin is their first defense against bacterial infections and other harmful conditions. A well-groomed pet can avoid these issues and also feel more comfortable in their daily life.
Furthermore, failing to remove your pet’s undercoat can interfere with their ability to stay warm or cool during extreme weather. De-shedding fixes this problem and also reduces hairballs in cats, and overall shedding in dogs.
